Hey Ally! I am so glad to hear that your work is going well :) haha, sounds like some great times over at that pretzel factory. I love hearing the stories - I didnt know that amish girls were so fiesty (sp.??). Mayterm is going well, a little too well actually. I havent really been studying that much, I get distracted by Sand volleyball and raquetball way too much :)

I miss you alot!!! The campus is really empty, so nothing overly exciting going on. I wish I had stories of amish people, life is so much more enjoyable when you can see them react in different ways (especially the ways they react at that pretzel factory...wow).

I have a morning class in the DMC, and you know those windows that when you are in the building you can see out, but outside the building they look like mirrors? Well inside is the class room, so I can see out clearly but the people can't see in. Anyway, whenever someone walks by I always think of Ashley because last year she thought they were mirrors and would fix her hair in them everyday until one day she got to close or something and realized that people were in the classroom and they could see her. Hahaha, so I laugh everytime I think of that - that keeps me awake in the morning I guess.

Anyway, I must start a paper that is due tomorrow...I am kinda confused, so lets hope it all works out :) I LOVE YOU and have a wonderful day!!!

update soon :)

love ya,

Kara

P.S. I dont think anyone else uses their xanga site to basically right emails to one another...way to set ourselves apart! lets keep it going...

KARA!!!!!! It's been less than 2 weeks, but i MISS YOU!!! i hope May term is fabulous. I spent all of last week in a 2nd grade class...so much fun. "Miss Hess, I got a REAL egypt necklace" "ooh...whats an egypt necklace?" "I don't know, but this one has flames and I know its real" "How do you know its real?" "I got it out of a machine!!!!!!" "oh..right.."haha funny kids. Today was my first day at the pretzel factory of doom. I knew it would be a long summer when some brilliant tourist on my very first tour goes "OHHH LOOK!!!! SHES MAKING PIEROGIES!!!!!!"  ...."yes...thats right...we're making pierogies..not pretzels...we just forgot to change the sign from Intercourse Pretzel Factory to Intercourse Pierogie factory...sorry about that..." Oh man...haha and then the amish girl who works there, ella, says..in her very dutchy accent, "ally...do you remember John?'' (john the old man who worked there for like a week and ella hated the whole time) "yes why?" "well I didn't like him" "yeah ella i knew that you told me that everyday" "yeah..well...one day while he was giving a tour i sprayed the back of his head with cooking spray." "YOU DID WHAT???" "uhmmm..i sprayed the back of his head with cooking spray....." "WHY?????" "Because I didn't like him!!!" " I knoooooooow ...but COOKING SPRAY ELLA?????" "Well i didn't have anything else..." "DID HE KNOW?!?!?!!?"...."no"         ohhhhh boy...I'm trying to stay positive...one perk...they changed the uniform a little..instead of pseudo-denim embroidered caps that say Intercourse Pretzel Factory....we now have multi-colored embroidered visors that simply and boldly say INTERCOURSE. ...lots more stories to come I'm sure....hahaha Karaaaa UPDATE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you and miss you!!! let me know how things are going!!!

Xanga

We can't believe we joined Xanga. We are both computer illiterate and figured it was better to go in this together rather than find ourselves as individual subjects to the inevitability of joining the internet cult -- even though we just did. Anyway, we are definatley in the library on a Saturday night -- we must sound like losers, but I promise you we are not. Finals are here so we must study. Summer is almost here, so lets go surfing...or if you live in Lancaster you can go cow tipping....

Leave us some comments, let us know we are not alone.
